Pulsation
The “Pulsation” series is a visual exploration of the human heartbeat as a vessel of psychological and emotional states. These reliefs transform abstract impulses — anxiety, calm, excitement, stillness — into structured, tactile compositions. Each piece captures a moment of shift: when the pulse accelerates, slows, or quietly responds to an unseen stimulus.
The material — wood — becomes the nervous system of the object. Through rhythmic modulations, repetitions, and breaks, a visual equivalent of the heartbeat emerges. The minimalist language is not about simplification, but concentration: reducing each composition to its core elements in order to express not the appearance of emotion, but its internal resonance.
This series does not illustrate feelings — it vibrates with them. It becomes a bioacoustic space where the viewer reads their own rhythm, their own tension or stillness. “Pulsation” is a meeting point with one’s own physicality — a moment where geometry and breath become indistinguishable.
